CMake build error: nvcc fatal : Unknown option 'Wl,--whole-archive'

Any one have met this error ?

Use -Xlinker --whole-archive but not -Wl,--whole-arcive can remedy this error.

Looks like nvcc not support the gcc link option keywords: -Wl, but support -Xlinker
