My gpu on server doesn’t work anymore. I can’t access gpu on jupyter notebook. And when I type nvidia-smi in console, it give out this message:
“NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver. Make sure that the latest NVIDIA driver is installed and running.”
Please help!
Solved. Apparently I need to upgrade the kernel of Ubuntu Linux. See stackoverflow post: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42984743/nvidia-smi-has-failed-because-it-couldnt-communicate-with-the-nvidia-driver.
